Pump the brake pedal five times, apply firm pressure for 3 seconds, the pedal should not move.

Hold the brake down for 5 seconds and listen for leaks.

Pump the brake pedal three times, apply firm pressure for 5 seconds, the pedal should not move.

Move slowly forward and step on the brake hard.

Any of the above.
