General Knowledge Test Question Image

What is the advantage of going right instead of left around an obstacle?

If the shoulder is paved, going right may be best. No one is ever on the shoulder, someone could be passing you on the left.

There is no advantage to going right instead of left.

It is much easier to turn a truck to the right than it is to the left. It is good to make a habit out of going the same way every time.

If you are blocked on both sides, a move to the right will not force anyone into an opposing traffic lane and a possible head-on collision.
