Class C Commercial Driver’s License

A Class C driver’s license is required to drive any single vehicle, or combination of vehicles, that does not meet the definition of Class A or Class B but is designed to transport 16 or more passengers, including the driver.

A Class C commercial driver's license is also required to drive vehicles that do not meet Class A or B that is transporting hazardous material and is required to be placarded or is transporting any quantity of a material listed as a select agent or toxin.
